Director of National library of the RK B.Ospanova participated in the session of the National commission of the RK on the affairs of UNESCO and ISESCO. The session was opened and carried out in the online format by the deputy minister of foreign affairs of the RK – Deputy Chairman of the National Commission Erzhan Ashikbayev, director of the UNESCO Cluster Bureau in Almaty city Krista Pikkat, director of the international centre for nearing cultures under the aegis of UNESCO Olzhas Suleimenov, general secretary of the National commission Anar Dutbayeva and many other people.

On November 15 deputy director of National library of the RK for library work Yussupova Azhar Khamitovna participated in the international forum of children’s reading by the theme: “The children’s world: from the book to the dreams”, organized by the National academic library of the RK and shared the information about the project of the programme “The reading Kazakhstan” elaborated by National library of the RK.

Director of National library of the RK Ospanova B.K. participated in the XXIV-th General meeting of t members of the Library Assembly of Eurasia (the LAE) at which there were made the report of the Directorate of the LAE, the report about the work of the libraries-participants of the LAE for the implementation of the projects within the framework of the Year of the 75-th year of the Victory and other information. Also there at the meeting were reelected the President and vice-presidents of the LAE.
