On June 29 at the N. Dauletova Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held an international scientific conference "International importance of the work of M.O. Auezov" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer, scholar Mukhtar Omarkhanovich Auezov in online and offline formats.

On June 29 there within the framework of the project of the Literary academy “The summer holidays at the library” took place the meeting with the well-known children’s writer, poet, winner of the prize “Alash” and the youth prize “Serper”, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Sayat Kamshyger. During 6th to 24th of June the students of the chair "TURKSOY" of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi passed and protected the industrial practice in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the defense practice, students conducted a bibliographic review of the collection of the Book Corner of Turkey.
