In the reading room "Kazakhstan kіtaptary" at the Depository of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty organized a book exhibition dedicated to May 1 - Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

The Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan is a holiday of true patriotism, devotion to their country and selfless love for the land of fathers.

The unity of the people has always been the highest asset of any country, throughout the history of mankind. In Kazakhstan, the holiday of the Unity of the People, which is celebrated on May 1, is becoming increasingly important, serving to strengthen stability, peace and harmony.

On April 24, 2019 at 4 p.m., a meeting with famous Kazakh orientalist, historian, sinologist, Doctor of History, Professor Klara Shaisultanovna Khafizova took place in the Library Science Hall as part of the cycle "China in My Life". The book exhibition "The Neverending History of the Great Wall" was presented at the meeting.

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Ospanova made a welcoming speech and congratulated with the 80th anniversary. The moderator of this event was candidate of historical sciences, Professor Kaina Gabbasovna Shaimerdenova.

On April 24, 2019 at 3 p.m., the E. Tursunov Film Club hosted a musical and poetic evening, "El Senimi - Zhastar", dedicated to the Year of Youth in Kazakhstan and May 1, the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

In Kazakhstan, 2019 has been declared the Year of Youth. Every citizen should clearly understand the essence of the ongoing reforms and their importance in the development and transformation of the country. In 2019, new opportunities of personal growth and contribution to the prosperity of the native country will be opened for young Kazakhs. And everyone should get involved in the implementation of the First President's initiative in order to be a citizen of modern Kazakhstan.
