On December 20, the presentation of the book of songs «Tamshylar» by the famous composer Maksat Zhautikov took place at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The moderator was Farhat Kystykbayev.

The welcoming speech at the event was delivered by: writer Beksultan Nurzhekeyev; Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Agaisha Isagulova; poets Sailaubai Toylybayev, Bakhyt Bedelkhan; wife of poet Shomishbai Sarieva Zhumagul Sarieva and others.

The book «Tamshylar» includes 64 songs by the author, reviews from representatives of the musical world, as well as documentary materials reflecting the composer's participation in international and national competitions and more than 300 photographs.

The book is intended for teachers of children's music schools, heads of clubs, as well as for all music lovers.

The event was attended by students of Maksat Zhautykov, laureates of the international festivals «Bozotrgai», laureates of the republican song festival «Tamshylar»: winner of the song contests «Slavic Bazaar», «Little Stars» Alisher Dzhaksybai; the main prize-winner of the competition in Bulgaria, diploma winner of the song contest «Zhas Kanat», winner of the song contest «Golden Microphone», actress Tomiris Zhangazinova and the groups «Taumatau», «Tugan zherim – tiregim», «Yerkeleshi, Yerkem», «Arman kanat», «Zhiberem kalai?», «Ana», «Suygenim – I love you».

Several copies of this book were donated to the Fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
