On March 6, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a poetry evening  «Arularga zharasady yerkelik» in honor of the International Women's Day.

The moderator was the poet, the head of the club of young poets «Zhas Kalam» Murathan Shokan.

Poetesses Asel Ospan, Gulmanat Auelkhan, Akgul Aidarbekovna, Fariza Isaeva, Aigerim Token, Zhuldyz Toktarbai read their poems.

Within the framework of the event, a book exhibition from the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Arularga Zharasady yerkelik» was presented.

The event was attended by university students, school students, staff and readers of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
