On December 27, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a memorial evening and presentation of the book  «Orazbek Sarsenuly. Kultir-Mamai» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer, kuishi Orazbek Sarsenuly.

The moderator was the cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, musician Murat Abugazy.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the head of the collection service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.M. Izambekova.

The event was attended by: Shamil Abiltaev - kuishi, composer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Saule Zhanpeisova - singer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Orak Zhauyrov - kuishi, knight of the Order of «Kurmet»; Ermurat Usenov - kuishi, composer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Zhanas Bekenturov - kuishi, conductor, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.

Kui Orazbek Sarsenuly was performed by students of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov and the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.

The book «Orazbek Sarsenuly. Kultir-Mamai» contains notes of kuys, memoirs of contemporaries, illustrations.

The event was attended by representatives of the creative intelligentsia, the media, students and readers.
