On October 23, pupils of the orphanage №1 in Almaty arrived at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In order to get acquainted in depth with the heritage of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayuly, they were offered the program «Abai alemimen tansayyk» and an educational hour was organized.

The event was opened by the head of the books service «Books of Kazakhstan» Rakhimova A. K., librarians Zhaksylykova S. T. and Tolykbaeva A. conducted a review of the literary center «Abai»  and presented an interesting quiz.

Deputy director of the «Arman-PV» publishing house, author of the literary and educational animated encyclopedia «Abai» Kymbat Karayeva presented a video recording of a unique publication on the screen, dwelled on its advantages and presented the children of the orphanage with one copy of the encyclopedia.

Also, the librarian of the scientific and methodological service R. Myspaeva gave a brief explanation of Abai's teaching «Tolyk Adam», which is the highest elusive peak of Murat-Askar's dream, dream and goal, and conducted a refreshing survey aimed at honing the thinking of children.

Specialist of the External Relations and Image work Service T. Ormanbekov completed the course «Kazagym», the children read poems from the work of the great poet.

At the end of the event, the children were presented with sweet gifts and books from the trade union committee.
