On February 14, 2024, the presentation of the first literary book by a young writer, publicist, employee of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Altynbek «Apamnyn alakany» took place in the hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after N. Dauletova.

The event was held within the framework of the International Book Donation Day celebrated in the world on February 14.

The purpose of the event is to introduce readers and young people to the works of the young writer Kanat Altynbek.

The Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna made a welcoming speech.

The event was moderated by a specialist of the Exhibitions and Cultural Programs Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a young poet Sharkhan Muhammad-Kanapiya.

The presentation was attended by a well-known writer, chief researcher of the M.O.Auezov Institute of Literature and Art Professor nurdaulet Akysh, who wrote the preface to this book; People's writer of Kazakhstan Akhmetzhan Ashiri; academician, outstanding literary critic, Ph.D., Professor Dandai Iskak; writer Tynyshbek Dayrabai; veteran announcer of Kazakh radio Amanzhan Yensebayev; outstanding poet, veteran of Kazakh television Zhumash Kenebai-Kokbori; the first school teacher of Kanat Altynbek Nagim Aiduisenova and her parents Murat and Arman Myrzabaevna.

Congratulations were delivered by Gulshat Abikova, Head of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Service of the National Library, and the youth of the National Library.

A folk singer took part in the event, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Kosanova and the youth group «Favorite». In addition, an exhibition of Kanat Altynbek's works, his articles and works published on the pages of magazines, newspapers, as well as books published in collaboration was organized.
