On February 14, in the hall named after N.Dauletova, with the support of the akim of the Zhetysu region, a ceremony was held from the Zhetysu Regional Central Library named after S.Seifullin to the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan 300 copies of books by poets, writers, composers and artists published since 2006 as part of the «Zhetysu Book Caravan» project.

The purpose of the event is to promote the works of talented poets and writers, strengthen cultural ties with the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Zhetysu region Suleimenov Kuanysh Sultanovich opened the event with a welcoming speech.

The event was attended by: poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Literary Award «Alash» Amre Arin; chairman of the International Union of Writers TURKSOY, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet Ulugbek Esdaulet; writer, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Ali Iskabai; Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Eleusiz Zhanpeisuly; poet, laureate of the International the literary prize «Alash» Bakhyt Bedelkhan.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation of books by writers was held: member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Merekenova Bakhyt Kabylkanovna «Altyn besik», Alpysbai Ali «Sagym», Zhangelda Nemerbai «Arman ayaldamasy».

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova Bakhytzhamal Kairbekovna, thanked the Akimat of the Zhetysu region and poets-writers of the Zhetysu region and donated 1000 copies of books from the exchange reserve fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the libraries of the Zhetysu region.

People's Artist of Kazakhstan Ramazan Stamgaziev, famous traditional singer, cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Zhanpeisov and singer of the trio «Kurenbel» of the Danesh Rakishev Regional Philharmonic of the Zhetysu region made musical congratulations.
