On October 12, in Aktau, as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Mangystau Regional Universal Library named after K. Sydykovich, a plenary session of the republican conference «Kitaphana isin damytudagi zamanaui alemdik urdister» was held.

The event was attended by a delegation headed by the Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna. The delegation included: Deputy Director for Library Work Yusupova A. H.; chief accountant Kazkenova D. B.; head of the Organizational and Analytical Work Service Nurseitova A. The event was moderated by the head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Mangystau region, Baypakov Abilkhair Zhanaevich.

In addition, Director of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurgalieva Gaziza Kudaibergenovna presented a congratulatory letter from Kuat Borash, Head of the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Business of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.⠀
