Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna took part in a round table meeting on the issues of the library system raised at the National Kurultai as part of a festive event dedicated to October 24 - Librarian's Day.

The round table discussed issues of social support for librarians, updating the library's book collection in accordance with the requirements of readers and increasing access to books through an electronic library.
