On October 2, in the House of Friendship, within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference «Kazakh detective zhanryn atasy», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding writer, daraboz of the detective genre of Kazakh literature, master of fiction, playwright, public figure Kemel Tokayev, a visiting book exhibition from the Fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Turki alemin detective zhanryn darabozy» was held, dedicated to the life and work of the writer.

The purpose of the book exhibition is to promote the honorary writer, introduce youth to patriotism, introduce the younger generation and readers to the work of Kemel Tokayev.

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhamal Ospanova Kairbekovna took part in the conference.

The significant exhibition featured articles by the writer in books and magazines, as well as reflections of contemporaries about K. Tokayev.

During the event, the head of the Republican Center «Maynaviyat va mayrifat», a member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, Senator Khojimatov Minkhojiddin Mirzajanovich presented a collection of works by Kemel Tokayev in Uzbek to the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the conference, the head of the Exhibitions and Cultural Programs Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdikarimova Zhanar Alpysbayevna and librarians Altynbekov Kanat Muratbekovich and Malik Zarina Meirkhatovna reviewed the books presented at the book exhibition.

The book exhibition was visited by representatives of the intelligentsia, Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Balayeva Aida Galymovna, Secretary General TURKSOY- Raev Sultan Akimovich, as well as poets and writers.
