On October 27, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by «Kazakh Gazetter» LLP and with the support of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Almaty, hosted an event «Muzafar Alimbayev zhane kazak balalar adebieti» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet of our people, laureate of the State Prize, People's Writer of Kazakhstan, the first editor-in-chief of the «Baldyrgan» magazine Muzafar Alimbayev and the 65th anniversary of the the publication of the children's magazine «Baldyrgan» in offline and online format.

The moderator is Deputy General Director of «Kazakh Gazetter» LLP, head of the Almaty branch Duman Anash and editor-in-chief of Baldyrgan magazine Duisen Maglumov.

Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Nurzhanovich Otarbayev made a speech at the event, who presented a congratulatory letter from the Head of state Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation of the book by akyn Muzafar Alimbayev «Alakai Balakai» was held, several copies of which were donated to the National Library foundation. In addition, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, traditional singer Aigul Kosanova, cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, traditional singer, teacher Talgat Abugazy, singers of the theater of traditional art «Alatau» Shattyk Uatan and Dias Murat performed songs based on the words of the poet, and students of al-Farabi school №145 in Almaty read poems.

A book exhibition from the Fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Balalar bakytynyn zhyrshysy» was also organized.
