From December 4-8, the specialists of the Centralized Library System named after Saken Seifullin of the Zhanaarka district, Ulytau region were trained at the School of Cataloguer of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The listeners got acquainted with the international and national documents regulating the rules for compiling the bibliographic records, the basic provisions of cataloging, as well as the scientific and methodological activities of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, national bibliography and reference and information services for readers.

The training was conducted on 5 modules of the domestic information system Web-RABIS, and practical classes were conducted.

In order to improve their skills, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites all specialists involved in machine-readable cataloging of documents to study at the School of Cataloguer and the School of Conservation and Restoration of Written Documents.
