On September 28 there in the hall of National library of the RK after N. Dauletova took place the conference “Or Altaidyn askak zhyrshysy”, dedicated to the 80-th birthday of Oralkhan Bokei.

The participants became acquainted with the book exhibition dedicated to the life and creative activity of Oralkhan Bokei “Or Altaidyn askak zhyrshysy” and the works of the painters.

The moderator of activity – doctor of science (philology), professor, journalist, publicist , poet, translator Bauyrzhan Zhakyp.

The first speech was made by deputy akim of Almaty city Arman Orazbaiuly Kyrykbayev. In his turn A. Kyrykbayev read the congratulatory letter of the State councilor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karin Erlan Tynymbaiuly and gave it to the sister of the writer Klara Magzumova.

There were made the reports by: the honored figure of Kazakhstan, the doctor of science (philology), chief scientific worker of the Institute of literature and art after M.O. Auezov Nurdaulet Akysh “Kesteli sozdyn Kerbugysy” and the doctor of science (philology), literary expert, professor of the Kazakh national Women’s pedagogical university Gaukhar  Baltabayeva “Otalkhan Bokeidyn prozasyndagy tauelsizdik ideyasy”.

There spoke: the writer, winner of the State prize of the RK, honored figure of Kazakhstan Kadirbek Segizbayev; the writer, winner of the state prize of the RK, honored figure of Kazakhstan Beksultan Nurzheke; the poet, winner of the State prize of the RK, chairman of the Writers’ Union TURKSOI Ulugbek Esdaulet; the literary critic, Honored figure of Kazakhstan Amirkhan Mendeke; the writer, chairman of the Kazakh PEN-club Bigeldy Gabdullin; the writer, winner of the International prize “Alash” Kuandyk Tyumenbai; the writer, the winner of the State prize of the RK Alibek Askarov; the writer, the nephew of Oralkhan Bokei Tokhtarbek Magzumov; the writer, winner of the International prize “Alash” Askar Altai.

There in the activity participated the poets and writers, representatives of intelligentsia, students and representatives of mass media.
