There in the reading-hall after O. Zhandosov of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary” at the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city is organized the book exhibition “Khalyktyn kuaty - birlikte”, dedicated to May 1 – the Day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan.

The Day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan is the holiday of genuine patriotism, devotion to your country and the selfless love for the land of the fathers. This holiday event embodies in itself the solidarity and agreement of the representatives of all the peoples that live in our country.  

The purpose of the exhibition is the acquaintance of the readers with the history and modern life> and also the popularization of the culture, traditions and art of all the ethnoses that live on the territory of Kazakhstan.

The book exhibition consists of three divisions. The first division of the exhibition “Tarikhtan tagylym – otkenge tagzym” acquaints the readers with the materials of history of the peoples that live on the territory of our country from the fond of National library of the RK and the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city: “Friendship – the invaluable heritage”, “Kazakstan khalky Assambleyasy”, “The special migrants of Kazakhstan”, “From the history of the deportations. Kazakhstan 1930-1935”, “From the history of deportations. Kazakhstan 1935-1939” and others.

In the second division “Tatulyk tuymyzdyn tiregy” there are presented the books which reflect the modern life, development of culture, traditions and art of the ethnoses, and also the materials dedicated to the friendship and cooperation of the ethnical groups of Kazakhstan, the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan is the multinational country where there live in peace and agreement more than 130 nationalities and peoples. The peoples of Kazakhstan live peacefully, in mutual understanding and respect for the culture, traditions, rites of all the nations and ethnical groups. The holiday of unity of the people of Kazakhstan is designed to strengthen the links, demonstrate the achievements of the people that live in the country.

The third part “Ainalasyna shuak shashkan ulttar” is presented through the materials which express the acknowledgement to the Kazakh people who accepted on their land during the different periods the representatives of different nationalities: “The history and culture of the Koreans of Kazakhstan”, “From the history of the Germans of Kazakhstan”, “The Russians of Kazakhstan”, “Almaty – the city where I live”, “Menyn Kazakhstanym” and others.
