On November 23, 2018 at 14.00 in the Library Science Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be summed up the results of the annual contest of literary works of students "World and Man", held in competition for the scholarship named after the People's Writer of Kazakhstan A. Nurshaihov.

In the hall of the Library science the department of language and educational training of foreigners of the Kazakh national university named after Al-Farabi will hold the literary evening devoted to life and creativity of the National writer of Kazakhstan Azilkhan Nurshaihov. The best works of young novice authors will be presented at the evening. The second part of the event will be dedicated to summarizing the results of the annual contest of literary works of students "The World and the Man".

The purpose of the contest is to popularize the creative work of the writer, to promote the disclosure of the creative potential of students, and to foster a culture of reading.  The winners who won prizes will be awarded a scholarship named after A. Nurshaihov, the People's Writer of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For all participants of the event will be held: a review of the book exhibition devoted to the life and works of the writer and an excursion to the memorial study of A. Nurshaihov.
