On April 19, 2019 in the hall named after. N. Dauletova held a presentation of the book of honorary journalist of Kazakhstan, "Veteran of Labor", the owner of the badge of Y. Altynsarin, honorary citizen of Kyzylorda Karymsakovich Iten "Zhaksynyn zharygy" and a bibliographical index on the works of the author, issued specially by the National Library of Kazakhstan.  

Karymsakovich Iten was born on April 20, 1939 in aul №3 of Syrdarya district of Kyzylorda region. He graduated in journalism from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He also graduated from the district military schools for training military correspondents and sergeants in Sverdlovsk. "Kazakh Encyclopedia", is the author of the books: "Brown Handle", "People. Years. Fates", "Notes of the Heart", and others.

The event was opened by the director of the National Library of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakhytzhamal Kairbekovna, who presented I. Karymsakov VIP library card of the National Library.

The moderator of the event was Baurzhan Zhakyp, poet, doctor of philological sciences, professor, who presented a congratulatory letter from Bauyrzhan Baybek, akim of Almaty, Ulykbek Esdaulet, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and a badge of Kazakh journalist.

As a part of the event an exhibition of books from the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was arranged, dedicated to the life and creative work of Iten Karymsakuly.

Poets and writers, readers of the library and representatives of mass media took part in the event.
