The book exhibition "Peace, harmony and stability - the main asset of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev, was organized in the reading hall of world literature.

Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev is a large-scale personality of modern world history. He was able to bring Kazakhstan to a high international level by declaring to the world community a peaceful, non-nuclear state policy.

During the years of independence, economic, political and social reforms have been implemented under the leadership of Yelbasy. Strategic thinking, the ability to foresee the course of history and farsighted, calibrated policy of Nursultan Nazarbayev ensured Kazakhstan's sustainable development on a multi-ethnic basis, rightfully putting him among the progressively thinking politicians of the world. Today, the uniqueness of the model of social peace and harmony built in Kazakhstan is spoken about all over the world, calling it "Kazakhstan's way" or "Nazarbayev's model". This experience is of great interest to politicians and scientists around the world. The ideas and initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan become the subject of in-depth research; they are discussed and written about by the leading media, as well as by the leaders of world powers.

Thanks to President Nazarbayev, a solid foundation of partnership between foreign countries has been laid. Over the years, the First President of Kazakhstan has made many efforts to strengthen friendship between the countries. He made an invaluable contribution to the global nuclear disarmament process.

Yelbasy's strategic initiatives - the development programs "Kazakhstan 2030", "Kazakhstan 2050", "Social modernization of Kazakhstan: Twenty steps to the Society of General Labor", "Mangilik Yel", "Peace. XXI century", "Look into the future: modernization of public conscience", "Seven facets of the Great Steppe" and others as well as historical speeches related to the declaration of independence of Kazakhstan, transfer of the capital to Akmola (now Nur-Sultan), inaugural speeches of the First President, speeches at international forums and conferences are the main reference points in development of the Kazakhstani society. N. Nazarbayev is a modern politician, a Leader of a new type, a progressive mindset, aimed at implementing the idea of modernizing the country. 

Kazakhstan differs from some CIS countries in that the country enjoys peace and stability and economic growth. Kazakhstan can serve as an example of a state where different nations coexist peacefully and where ethnic diversity is seen as the well-being of the people.

The book exhibition from the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents the works of N.A. Nazarbayev and literature about him in English, French, German, Persian, Turkish, which reveal all facets of N.A. Nazarbayev's activity.
