March 4, 2020. The National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a visiting exposition of materials from the G.K. Belger Memorial Study for the presentation of the exhibition "The Beautiful World through the Eyes of Children" of the Children's Development Center "Almaty tutoring" in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The organizers of the event are ˗ designer-decorator, batikiste Azhar Kanatovna Tuleubaeva, Center of the Child Development "Almaty tutoring", with the support of the National Library of the RK, the Central State Museum of the RK and the art studio "By ArT".

The Republican competition-illustrations to works of the known Kazakhstan writer G.K.Belger whose creativity is an embodiment of friendship, mutual understanding of ethnic groups inhabiting Kazakhstan, and mutual enrichment of their cultures is devoted to the 25th anniversary of Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the Contest was to create author's illustrations to the works of G.K.Belger "Wolf, Chapa and others". The participants of the Contest were pupils of comprehensive schools and colleges of Kazakhstan. The illustrations were accepted for any episode of one or more stories of the writer, which were included in the collection "The Wolf, the Chapa, and the others". The works of the winners will be included in the reprinted in three languages collection of stories by H.K. Belger "The Wolf, the Chapa, and Others".

Galiya Temirton, deputy director for scientific work of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, made a welcoming speech at the event. M.B. Zharknalova, the head of the "Kazakhstan Kiptary" Service, told in her speech about the activities of the Memorial Study at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The drawings of the winners and all participants of the Contest were presented on the third floor of the museum. Also on display were personal belongings from the Memorial Study of Gerold Belger: portraits, photographs, table chess, clothes, books and other materials.

The guests of the event were the wife of the writer R.Z. Hismatullina, teachers of secondary schools of Almaty and Taraz, parents of children participating in the Contest, lovers of Belger's works and others.

The event was accompanied by a musical composition performed by young children and students of the Child Development Center "Almaty tutoring" and "New School". At the end of the event, all participants of the Contest were given certificates.
