On September 11 at the "Literary Center of Abay" of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held a ceremony of handing over 120 copies of books from the exchange and reserve fund of the library to the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Ceremony of transfer of books was timed to the opening of the Kazakh cultural center "Abay" in the National library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Alykul Osmonov within the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh enlightener Abay Kunanbaev.

Almash Arenova, head of the representative office of the MFA RK in Almaty expressed her gratitude to the National Library of the RK for their support and assistance in the opening of the Center of Abai in Bishkek, and also for providing an opportunity for Kyrgyz readers to get acquainted with the works of great Abai and literature of famous Kazakh writers.

The books donated to the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Alykul Osmonov are a good opportunity to introduce readers to the culture, history, traditions and literature of the Kazakh people.
