On December 8 the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the M.I. Rudomino All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature and the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an open lecture on the heroes of the Second World War within the framework of the international project "Libraries - Witnesses of the Victory".

Speakers of the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature named after M.I. Rudomino told stories about heroes from Kazakhstan at the resource "Libraries - witnesses of the Victory”. During the event were discussed the traditions of celebrating the Victory Day in Kazakhstan and the formats of military projects that would be interesting for young people. Dana Karbozova, a 5th grade student of school №61, read the memories of the front-line soldier Shangerei Zhanybekov about heroism and courage, about the joyful moment of Victory.
