On June 15 in the hall named after N. N. Dauletova held a presentation of the book "Profession - producer #cup_coffeemillion", the authors of which are well-known film producers Aliya Uvalzhanova and film critic Gulnara Abikeeva.

This is the first publication in Kazakhstan dedicated to the skill of the producer, which reflects Kazakhstan's experience in producing and promoting films and TV series.

The idea for the book appeared several years ago, when Aliya Uvalzhanova was teaching at KazNAI named after Zhurgenov, and she realized that there was no complete publication for students-producers, which would cover such issues as finding financing, making contracts, film budgeting, regulation of legal relations, etc. And she decided to share her extensive life and professional experience as a producer on such films as "The Gift to Stalin", "Zhazhurek Myn Bala", the documentary series "Faces of Eurasia", the feature series "Dream City", "Zhas Ulan", "Zhanym", "Ulzhan" and many other projects.

Film critic Gulnara Abikeeva contributed to the book with chapters on film festivals, pitching platforms, and issues of film promotion.  The modern Kazakh film process is also reflected in the last chapter of the book, which compiles the "Results of the Film Year" published by Abikeeva G. in the media from 2005 to 2019.

Another advantage of the book is that portraits of ten producers are presented here - from the founders of the production business in Kazakhstan to the youngest representatives of this profession: Maxim Smagulov, Oraz Rymzhanov, Sain Gabdullin, Limara Zheksembaeva, Sergey Azimov, Gulnara Sarsenova, Zhadyra Sakhieva, Yernar Malikov, Akan Satayev and Ahat Ibraev.

The event was opened by the director of the National Library of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kayyrbekovna, moderated by famous film critic Gulnara Abikeeva.

The new work was presented by film producer Aliya Uvalzhanova.

Aliya Uvalzhanova and Gulnara Abikeeva took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Belkina, S. Gabdullin, G. Sarsenova, S. Azimov, S. Rymzhanova, E. Malikov, D. Omirbaev made a speech at the event.

At the end of the event, the new book was donated to the fund of the National Library of Kazakhstan and presented to the participants of the event.
