On October 22 within the framework of the International Conference "Independent Kazakhstan: the place of libraries in the social and cultural space" in the West Kazakhstan regional universal scientific library named after Zh. Moldagaliev Regional Universal Scientific Library held a grand opening of the Library Museum.

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union B.K.Ospanova, Chairman of the Public Association "Kazakhstan branch professional union of workers of culture, sport, tourism and information" S.K.Imankulova and poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan A.Narikov took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The round table on the theme: "Current problems of the libraries of Kazakhstan and the prospects of their development", moderator of which was Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna. S.K.Imankulova - Chairman of the Public association "Kazakhstan branch trade union of workers of culture, sport, tourism and information", S.T.Duisenov - head of the department of culture of the West Kazakhstan region and others made their reports. Guests and participants expressed their gratitude to the conference organizers.
