On December 3, the XXV General Meeting of the members of the Eurasia Library Assembly (ALA) was held via video link on the ZOOM platform, which was attended by Director of the National Library B.K. Ospanova and Deputy Director for Information Technologies and Innovations N.A. Iskalieva. The meeting was organized by the Eurasia Library Assembly, the Russian State Library and the A. Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan.

The meeting heard the report of the BAE Directorate, discussed the agenda for the period 2022 – 2025 and elected the President V.V. Duda (Director of the Russian State Library) and the BAE Vice-President A. G. Chulyan (Director of the National Library of Armenia) for the period December 2021 - December 2025.

The venue of the next XXVI General Meeting of BAE was also determined - the Republic of Belarus, the city of Minsk.
