On the 15th of December in the hall named after N. Dauletova of the National Library of Kazakhstan within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 35th anniversary of the December events was a presentation of the book - a documentary chronicle "Zheltoksan. December. 1986", published by the "Arys" publishing house.

The compiler of the book is Berik Abdygaliuly, a deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, candidate of historical sciences.    

The event was opened by the Scientific Secretary of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of the International Literary Award "Alash" Zhunusbekov Bolat Zhunusbekovich. The moderator was doctor of philological sciences, president of the "Arys" Foundation for the study of the heritage of Kazakh intelligentsia, head of the museum of victims of political repressions Garifolla Anes.

At the event were: Khangeldy Abzhanov, Marat Tokashbaev, Beybit Koishybaev, Hasen Kozhakhmetov, Nabizhan Mukhametkhanuly, Kalila Umarov, Amalbek Tshanov, Kusman Shalabaev and others.
