The opening of the photo-exhibition "Tauelsizdik tagylymy-30" devoted to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the public association "Fotoiskusstvo" and the Kazakh author society took place in the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 20.

The event was conducted by Kurmet Karabayev, an employee of the Exhibition and Cultural Programs Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by: Chairman of the Republican Public Association "Author Society of Kazakhstan" Balnur Kydyrbek; veteran of photojournalism of Kazakhstan, member of the International Organization of Journalists Kaligumar Kabdeshev; famous actor, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director General of the NGO "Kazakhstan Author Society" Baigali Yesenaliev; professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philosophy Zhakypbek Altaev; photojournalist of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, winner of the International Prize of Zhambyl Nurmanbet Kizatuly; photographer Zhenis Iskabai; president of the public association "Photo Art" Asylkhan Abdraim.

Participants: photojournalists, the public of Almaty, mass media, etc.

The exhibition presented the works of the best photojournalists, who did not leave without attention the historical events of our country, national traditions, life in the regions.

The purpose of the event is to leave in genealogical form for future generations those moments and events of state, public, political and spiritual significance that are captured in the lenses of photographers during thirty years as a sovereign country. From each valuable picture in the photo exhibition, to the joy of our people in the year of liberation "bursting the belly of the white camel," to the most vivid works of its formation and sensual moments.

The authors of about 100 works presented at the exhibition are the masters of Kazakhstani photography: Joseph Budnevich, Rakhimbay Hanaly, Murat Mambetov, Nurgozha Zhubanov, Zhunusbek Protetov, Siez Basibekov, Denderbai Yegizov, Saylau Pernebayev, Kaligumar Kabdeshuly, Anatoly Ustinenko, Yesimhan Orynbayev, Bolat Omaraliev, Nurmanbet Kizatuly, Zhaksylyk Turlybekov, Bersinbek Sarsenov, Slava Shakhai, Yuri Bekker, Kairat Mustafin, Aitzhan Murzanov, as well as, the talented younger generation presented their works: Yerlan Omarov, Zhenis Iskabay, Maksat Shagyrbay and others.
