On December 22 in the Great Hall of the National Library of Kazakhstan on the 110th anniversary of the poet Kasym Amanzholov was a presentation of a collection of songs on the words of the poet.

Kasym Amanzholov was born on the 10th of October, 1911 in the winter village Kyzylaray, Karkaraly region of Karaganda oblast. In 1924 he went to a boarding school in Semey. There Kasym grew up until 1927, then three years he studied at the Semipalatinsk veterinary technical school. At that time he began to write his first poems. In 1930 he came to Alma-Ata, worked in the newspaper "Leninshil jas".

In 1931, he entered the Leningrad Institute of Forestry. But because of health problems and did not like the enrollment, a year later he returned home and took a job at the newspaper "Ekpindi Kurilys" in Uralsk. In 1933 he returned to the army, fulfilling his duty to the motherland. In 1936-1941 he went to Almaty, worked in the newspapers "Socialistik Kazakhstan", "Leninshil jas", which were then considered the main editions and the Union of Writers. In 1938, he published his first collection of poems called "Omir Syry".

Gulbarshyn Tergeubekova, singer and recipient of the Order of Kurmet, released the collection "Kasymnyn anderi ai!"

The electronic tape, released for the anniversary of the legendary poet, includes twenty-four songs, written earlier and new.

The event was attended by figures of literature and art, poet Jursin Yermann, Chairman of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ulykbek Esdaulet, the collection's sponsor Rymbala Omarbekova, People's artists Roza Rymbayeva and Makpal Zhunisova, Distinguished artist of Kazakhstan Sulushash Nurmagambetova, singer and composer Maksat Zhautikov, singers Kairat and Zhuldyz, Omirkul Ainiyazov, Aibek Mukhametaliyev and others.
