On the 23rd of December took place the International scientific-practical online conference on the theme: "THE LIBRARY BUSINESS AND EDUCATION: CONTENT, ORGANIZATION, DIGITIZATION", devoted to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Conference organizers: Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts, Department "Library Science and Bibliography".

The aim of the Conference: to define the concept of forming quality human capital, discuss the content and organizational issues of training specialists, exchange experiences with foreign partners, identify future needs for professional specialists in libraries.   

F.U. Sydykzhanova, the head of the Service of Information Resources of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the report "Kazakhstan Respublikasy Ulttyk kitaphanasynyn electrondy resurstary", the head of the Service of Digital Technologies J.A. Abenova with the theme "Modern technologies in the formation of electronic collections of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and librarian of the Scientific and Methodological Service, candidate of technical sciences A.L. Krivkov made a report on the theme "Statistics of librarianship in the system of dual education. To the statement of the problem".

The participants of the online Conference are library specialists from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, teachers from I.S. Turgenev Oryol State University, I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State University. Participants from Kazakhstan - teachers of library departments and faculties of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Almaty University of Management, Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts, Kaskelen College of Culture, employees of the National Library of the RK.
