The book exhibition "Kazakhstan - bir el, bir halyk, bir bolashak" dedicated to the Thanksgiving Day was organized in the reading room named after O. Zhandosov of the service "Kazakhstan kittatary" at the Depositary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty.

The Thanksgiving Day holiday is timed to coincide with the Day of the Establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan - March 1. Thanksgiving Day,which implies an expression of gratitude to the Kazakh people who have welcomed representatives of different nationalities to their land at different periods of history.

Gratitude Day is gaining more shades of meaning for the citizens of our country and is becoming more and more important. The word "gratitude" has deep roots.

This year began with tragedy for our country. Our nation has been through a very difficult ordeal. It is known that any political event is a driving force. The main driving force for change in the country is the people. The forces of the people unite in difficult times. Our head of state thanked and rewarded the citizens who showed courage in the critical hour of the events of January.

The main wealth of the country is proud, talented, sincere, benevolent and peace-loving Kazakh people. A man does not choose his homeland, it is given to him from above. And if we were destined to live under the Kazakh sky, cherish this very land, then we should increase its fertility in the broadest sense of the word, and write a new history of revival in the spirit of the era.

The goal of the holiday is to foster a sense of tolerance, respect and friendliness towards one another among the younger generation, as well as to strengthen inter-ethnic harmony and life in Kazakhstan.

Every corner of the country prepares a festive program. City and district museums and libraries organize book exhibitions; the holiday is accompanied by concerts, festivals, theatrical performances, demonstrating peace, friendship and unity of the people. The brightest moments of this holiday are ethno-cultural exhibitions of representatives of different nations.

At the book exhibition "Kazakstan - bir el, bir khalyk, bir bolashak" will be presented materials about history and life of different ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, different ethnic groups living on the territory of the republic, and articles in the periodical press from the collection of the National Library of Kazakhstan and the Depositary of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan in Almaty.

Welcome to the book exhibition!
