On the 25th of March in the hall named after N. N. Dauletova held a presentation of the next volume of the book series "Оnegeli Omir", dedicated to the life and work of a famous scientist, doctor of biological sciences, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gilmanov Murat Kurmashevich.

The event was opened by the Scientific Secretary of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of the International Literary Award "Alash" Zhunusbekov Bolat Zhunusbekovich. The moderator was Marzhan Hasenovna Aspandiyarova, a public figure, and Adil Yerezhepovitch, candidate of biological sciences, associate professor of biotechnology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The following people shared their memories: the cultural scientist, public and state figure M. Auez; Z. Mansurov, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of RK; A. Begaliev, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of RK, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Genetics Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; O. Dilmukhamedov; T. Seytkalievich, PhD in architecture, professor, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan; well-known historian M. Sembin; A. Kistaubaeva, PhD in biology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and head of the Biotechnology Department; as well as honored power engineer of the RK E. The participants of the conference were the following persons: E. Yerekeshev, Honored Power Engineer of RK; Zh. Abylayevich, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Academician; T. Shalakhmetova, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor; R. Sarsenbayuly, well-known public figure, and others. At the end the spouse of M. Gilmanov L. Idisheva spoke.

New books were presented at the event to the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
