On the 9th of April in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kazakhstan was held the opening ceremony of the Hall of Religion and Traditions.

Organizers: National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the opening of the Hall of Religion and Tradition is to expand the space of state identity, to affirm and further develop national forms of knowledge and customs, as well as to educate the younger generation in the spirit of love for their native land. These human values guard against tragic events and illuminate the deep roots of national existence and self-knowledge.

The event was conducted by Bakyt Zhagyparuly, a poet, journalist, laureate of the Presidential Prize, head of the Almaty branch of "Kazak zhane Shalkar" radio.

Speakers at the event were: Director of the National Library of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna; Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, the Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai Kazhi Taganuly; writer, film dramatist, professor of the Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, honored worker of Kazakhstan Elubai Smagul Abatuly.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by: Nauryzbai Kazhi Taganuly, Smagul Elubai, Bakytjamal Ospanova.

At the event, the ritual of "shashu" was performed by the azheler and the Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai kazhy performed the rite of cutting the putt (tusaukeser) to the baby with wishes for a bright road in life.
