On April 22 in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held a festive event "KITAP SHOY - 2022", dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day, which is annually celebrated on April 23 in more than 100 countries around the world, as part of the Year of Children and the Year of support for children and young people's reading.

The event is a call to read and a tribute to books and authors.

As part of the event, the audience was shown an immersive audio-performance "In-depth Knitting Course", organized by the Cultural Space "Transforma" and Impact Hub Almaty.

"In-depth Knitting Course" is a story of human loneliness, love and exploits. The viewer enters an abandoned spaceship, where traces of the lonely astronaut's life are saved. The spectator will hear his story, see the traces of his life, touch the things that were dear to him, and, after exploring the spaceship, go into outer space. There were no actors in the play. The main actors in it were the spectators, it was a performance-immersion in itself for each guest, a story for the inner transformation of the spectator.

More than 60 people attended the performance. The participants noted the novelty of the immersive audio performance for the Kazakhstani audience and expressed their gratitude for the creative theatrical immersive audio project.

Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ospanova Bakytjamal Kairbekovna awarded a letter of thanks to the staff of the Cultural Space "Transforma" and Impact Hub Almaty, and also presented books for participation in such an interesting event.
