On the 22nd of April 2021 within the framework of the celebrations devoted to the 23rd of April - the World Book and Copyright Day "KITAP SHOY - 2022", a creative evening of Saule Doszhan, poet, writer, journalist, honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Literary Award "Alash", took place in the hall of religion and traditions of the National Library of Kazakhstan.

The event was hosted by Bakhyt Zhagyparuly, a poet, recipient of the Presidential Prize and the Order of Kurmet, and head of the Almaty branch of Kazakh Radio and Radio Shalkar.

During the event Director of the National Library of Kazakhstan B.K. Ospanova, deputy director for library work A.H. Yusupova and deputy director for information technology and innovation N.A. Iskalieva presented the guests with gratitude letters and gifts.

The library also organized a book exhibition devoted to the life and work of poetess and writer Saule Doszhan.

The creative evening was attended by teachers and students of K.Ushinsky secondary school of Karasai district and school-gymnasium №86 named after G.Musrepov, the coach of the sports club "SAGADAT BATYR" named after S. Nurmagambetov, multiple champion of the world on jiu-jitsu and grappling Zhibek Kulymbetova and other famous sportsmen-teenagers, as well as media representatives.
