On November 30 there in the reading hall after Oraz Zhandosov of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary”  There in the framework of the 30-th anniversary of Independence of the RK took place the meeting of the readers with the well-known writer-bolashakovets, the first author of the serial scientific-bolashak novels in Kazakhstan, the winner of the Literary prize of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan and the International prize “Baikonur” Zhunis Sakhiyev.

In 1971 Zh. Sakhiyev wrote his first novel “Tirshilik uyasy” from his author’s series of scientific-bolashak novels under the general title “Kenistik koshpendilery”. As for today there within the framework of this series are published 14 separate books, which became accessible to the wide auditorium. In his works the author shows the scientific-technical achievements of man in the space of the sidereal world, giving the sharp-plot situations through the destinies of his personages in the conquering of good and justice, basically and scientifically proving the mastering of the sidereal world. The novels of the writer are created on the basis of the scientific knowledge. Zh. Sakhiyev is not only the professional writer-bolashakovets and astronomer but he is also the popularizer of astronomy and other natural sciences, the author of scientific-cognitive articles about the Kazakh and world scientific-bolashak genre. Also Zh. Sakhiyev translated into the Kazakh language the textbooks “Astro-physics” of the known scientists M.M. Dagayev and V.M. Charugin (1996) and “Astronomy” of E.P. Levitan (1998).  

There within the framework of the meeting from the fond of National library of the RK was organized the book exhibition “Gylym bolashagynyn zhazushysy” about the life and activity of Zh. Sakhiyev, there are presented his scientific and scientific-cognitive works, translations, the literature about him and his articles on the pages of the newspapers and magazines, and also the demonstration of the slide photographs. The head of the group of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary” M.Zh.Akbayeva acquainted the participants of the meeting with the brief biography and creative activity of Zh. Sakhiyev. The librarian of highest category G.K. Alibekova carried out the review over the book exhibition.

The presenter of the activity was the specialist of the Service of exhibitions and cultural programmes Karabayev Kurmet. The activity is dedicated to the 50-th anniversary of the creative activity of the writer-bolashakovets Zh. Sakhiyev. The meeting with any writer – it is always the possibility to become acquainted with the new books and heroes, to learn more about the creative profession, and also to participate in the interesting discussion. The guests of the activity actively put the questions to the author which interested them about the heroes of the books they loved and about the creative activity of the writer-phantast. The writer interestingly narrated about how he created his fantastic novels and answered the most diverse questions about his creative activity. There in the performance of the young specialist of the library Kumysbek Nesibeli sounded the monologue from the work of Zh. Sakhiyev “Garyshtan kelgen gul”, and also the student of the 4-th course of the Kazakh national conservatoire after Kurmangazy Sauletbai Baktybaiuly performed upon the dombra the Kazakh folk songs.

There in the activity participated the teachers, the pupils of the school-gymnasium №123 after Kozha Akhmet Yassaui and the students of the Almatinskiy state polytechnical college of Almaty city, and also the readers and young specialists of the library. The participants of the meeting expressed their acknowledgment and admiration with the creative activity of Zh. Sakhiyev.
