On March 5, 2021 there in the Hall after N.Dauletova within the framework of the celebration of the 30-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the panel dedicated to the 155-th birthday of one of the most outstanding public and state figures in the history of our country and the Turkic world – the founder and the leader of the national-liberation movement “Alash” Alikhan Bukeikhanov.

Director of National library of the RK B. Ospanova opened the activity with the word of greeting, noting that it was namely Alikhan Bukeikhanov who could spiritually enrich the people and defend the territorial integrity of Kazakhstan by participating in the expeditions, and also saying about his great contribution in the establishment of independence of our Motherland.

The moderator of the panel was the historian, candidate of science (philology), scientist-Alikhan study specialist Zhusup Sultan Khan Akkululy. There in the work of the panel participated: doctor of science (history), professor, academician of the NAS of the RK M. Koigeldiyev; doctor of science (philology), scientist-Alikhan studies’ specialist A. Smakova; academician of the National academy of sciences of the RK, historian Kh. Abzhanov; deputy-director of the Central state archives M.Zhylysbayeva; the writer, publicist, scientist B. Koishybayev; lawyer, scientist, candidate of science (law) E. Nurpeyisov; deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the RK K. Zh. Isa; the well-known scientists-Alash-Orda specialists: B.O. Koishybayev, A.K. Garifolla, Amankos Mektep, S.U. Smagulova, M.G. Zhylysbayeva, G.M. Abikova and other scientific workers, specialists of the library.

The participants of the activity honored the memory of the outstanding politician, teacher and journalist of the last century, considered the cultural-historical heritage of the leader of “Alash” Alikhan Bokeikhanov, left for the descendants on the basis of the new data during the tears of independence, analyzed the main ideas and the place of the “Alash” party in the history of Kazakhstan.

There to the activity was organized the book-illustrative exhibition   “Ulttyn uly kosemy” from the fond of rare books and manuscripts of National library of the RK dedicated to the life and creative activity of A. Bukeikhanov.
