On January 26, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Afganistan in Almaty Payab Muhammad Weiss, Third Secretary of the Culture Department Barin Najibullah and interpreter Safi Samiulhaq visited the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the course of the visit, representatives of the Afgan Consulate met with the director of the library Ospanova B.K., which they discussed the future of bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Books were donated to the library from the Consulate General.

The library director told about the activities of the library introduced the work of the reading rooms and book corners.
