There in the reading hall of “Kazakstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition named “Ata zan – tauyelsizdiktyn tiregi”, dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Constitution is the main law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was adopted at the all-national referendum on August 30, 1995.
The Constitution is the basic document which establishes the general principles of civil system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first Constitution of the independent and sovereign state of Kazakhstan was adopted on January 28, 1993. The Constitution existed up to 1995, playing a considerable role in the reorganization of the public system and public life, in the establishment of the new independent state, in the formation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The necessity of the deep reorganizations and reforms stipulated the elaboration and adoption of the new Constitution.
Altogether there are in the Constitution 9 chapters and 98 articles. One of the most important advantages of the Constitution is its orientation upon the generally acknowledged democratic legal ideas and principles. The devotion of the people of Kazakhstan to the ideals of freedom and equality, announced in the preamble of the Constitution found in its norms the real confirmation.
Kazakhstan today is the example of agreement and unity for many countries. The republic preserves the spiritual and historical peculiarities of the lesser peoples of the country. The preservation of the inter-ethnical tolerance and interreligious agreement became one of the main and indisputable successes of independent Kazakhstan. The strengthening of the national unity continues to remain the guarantee of the successful future of our country and our people.
There within the framework of the celebration of the 25-th anniversary of the Constitution in accordance with the traditions there are held different activities: the scientific-practical conferences, the thematical book exhibitions in the libraries, the informational-cognitive studies, the exhibitions in the museums, meetings, festivals, concerts of the masters of artistic activity and the stars of Kazakhstani pop stage, excursions etc.
There at the book exhibition “Ata zan – tauyelsizdiktyn tiregi” out of the fond of National library of the RK is presented the literature which reflects the history of the state and law, the formation of the legal system and law-formation policy and also presented is the Constitution of Kazakhstan in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
