On May 25 the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the IFLA/PAC Center for Central Asia, the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature named after M. I. Rudomino, the IFLA/PAC Center for the CIS and Eastern Europe, held the International Seminar "Bio-damage of books: detection, methods of processing and protection, prevention".
