On June 3 in accordance with the work programme of the session of the Kazakhstani Library Union there took place the excursion and the acquaintance of the directors and specialists of the regional libraries of Kazakhstan with the organization and activity of the libraries of the new type as exemplified by the CLS of Almaty city: Alatau Creative Hub, the Library of Kazakhstani writers, the City youth’s library after Zhambyl, the Children’s library №33 in Almaty city.

On May 26 at 11:00 hours there in the hall after N. Dauletova within the framework of the celebration of the 30-th year of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republican scientific-practical conference “Makei Erkinbekov – the organizer of the people’s enlightenment of the years 1920-1940” took place the online presentation of the documentary film of director Mukhtar Umarov “Makei torenyn kupiyasy” (“The mystery of Makei tore”) and the book of the writer Ilesken Albatyruly “Mangilik eldyn Makeiy” (“Makei of the Eternal people”), dedicated to the 125-th jubilee of the Honored teacher of the Kazakh SSR Makei Erkinbekov.
