A festive event dedicated to October 24-Librarian’s Day organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the «KazMedia» television and radio complex in Astana.

The event was attended by Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna, chief accountant Kazkenivna Damet Baizakovna, head of the dissertation department Abenova Zhazira Amangeldina and head of the group of the National Bibliographic Service Abilova Maria Kunidaevna.

At the festive event, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva, congratulated the librarians of the Republic and awarded them for their great contribution to the development of a number of library specialists.
