On February 26 there at National library of the RK took place the musical-poetical evening “Zhyr alyby Zhambyl”, dedicated to the 175-th birthday of the great akyn, poet, composer Zhambyl Zhabayev.

The activity was carried out within the framework of the Club “Inzhu-Marzhan” operating at the Arts’ department of National library of the RK. 

The moderator of the evening was the honored figure of the RK, general director of the ROS “The Kazakhstani authors’ society”, the well-known actor Baigali Esenaliyev.

The purpose of the musical-poetical evening is the revival of the poetical heritage of the akyn, the wide advancement and popularization of his creative activity, acquaintance with it of the youth.

The guests of the evening were: the well-known public figure, writer, Zhambyl-study specialist, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Nagashybek Kapalbekovich; professor, doctor of science (philology) Tebegenov Temirkhan; professor, candidate of science (philology) Aibergenova Saltanat; the composer, winner of the State prize of the RK, winner of the order “Kurmet”, chairman of the RPS “The Kazakhstani Authors’ Society” Kydyrbek Balnur; member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Aldzhambayev Shayakhmet; the composer Setekov Khabibolah; the script-writer, winner of the International prize of Zhambyl Shormakov Bakytzhan and others.

There within the framework of the musical-poetical evening in the reading halls of the Arts’ department, World literature, “Kazakstan kitaptary” after Oraz Zhandosov, and also in the hall of Periodical editions are organized the book exhibitions dedicated to the 175-th birthday of the great akyn, the classic of the folk improvisational art Zhambyl Zhabayev, where there are presented his works and the literature about him.

There in the activity partivcipated the well-known figures of culture and art, mass-media representatives, readers and others.
