Specialists of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Virtual library school under the Kazakhstan Library Union conduct the refresher course from October 26 to December for library specialists of the National academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan.
On November 26 the head of the restoration, conservation and binding Service of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ph. D. Sarsenbayeva B. Sh., the head of the restoration and binding group Batyrkhanova B. E. and head of the group of rare books and manuscripts Bekturbekova F. K. held an online lesson on the topic: "Preservation and restoration of documents".
Library specialists of the National academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan were introduced to the main areas of work of the Service, where they briefly talked about the preventive conservation, stabilization and restoration processes carried out in the Service, and showed the video on the restoration of library books. Those interested were invited to study at the School of conservation and restoration of written documents, located in the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
