On April 23, 2025, in the format of the celebration of «Ulttyk kitap kuni - Ulttyk Kitap khanada» in the hall of the Literary Academy at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the evening «Ayel tеndigi» was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the republican magazine «Kazakhstan ayelderi».

The socio-political, literary and artistic magazine «Kazakhstan ayelderi» is aimed at a female audience. The periodical has been published since 1925 and is one of the oldest Kazakh-language magazines in the republic.

The magazine «Kazakhstan ayelderi» was founded on the basis of the newspapers «Azat ayel» and «Tеndik» Since January 1926, the magazine was published under the name «Ayel tеndigi». In 1935-1941 and 1950-1954 – under the name «Stalin Zholy», from January 1955 to the present – «Kazakhstan ayelderi».

The editor-in-chief of the magazine today is Altynshash Kairzhanovna Zhaganova.

The moderator of the evening was Gulmira Nalibai, a journalist and a well-known presenter of Kazakh Radio.

The meeting discussed topical issues in the field of gender equality, women's rights, their role in public life, and more.

A video slide dedicated to the history of the magazine and a greeting from the editor-in-chief of the magazine, A. Zhaganova, were shown in the hall.

The event was attended and performed by veterans of the Kazakhstan Hayelderi magazine: Zhanganym Nurkina, Zhumagul Soltieva, Maksat Duismagambetov, Alexander Saduakasov, Asylkhan Abdraimuly; artists: honored Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sulushash Nurmagambetova, Saule Zhanpeisova, Ardak Isatayeva, deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine Mara Keles and many others.
