On April 23, 2025, an interactive event «The Path of the National Book: from Publisher to Reader» was held in the R.Berdigalieva Library Science Hall, dedicated to the relations between publisher and author, and ways to promote books on the book market.

The moderator of the event is Kanat Altynbekov, a specialist in the Scientific and Methodological Service.

Within the framework of the event, a video clip «The History of the book», interesting facts about the book were presented, and an interesting guiz «Oillike» was organized.

At the festive event, Kadirbek Segizbayev, a prominent writer, journalist, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the «Alash» International Literary Award and the M. Auezov Prize, congratulated on National Book Day, spoke about his work and connections with the publishing house.

Farabi scholar, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Philosophy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, scientific adviser to the Al-Farabi International Research Center, Zhakypbek Altayev spoke about his path to science, his first monographs and relations with the publishing house.

Zhanat Beketan, a well-known publisher, philanthropist, director of the Republican Publishing House «Daryn», spoke about the activities of the publishing house, the book journey from the publisher to the reader.

K.M. Izambekova, Head of the Collection Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, told about the way books were received by the library. She encouraged young people to read books and be friends with the book.

The festive event was attended by students and teachers of the Department of «Information Technology and Librarianship» of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, Almaty Technological College of Printmedia, librarians.

Students of the Faculty of Theater and Arts of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov performed Kazakh songs and created a festive atmosphere of the event.
