On April 23, 2025, as part of the celebration of the National Book Day and the activities of the Book Corner of Iran, a presentation of the collection of short stories «Book on one page» - «Bir bettik kitap» by the famous Iranian writer Mehdi Mirazimi took place. The event was held jointly with the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty and the Iranian Cultural Center.

The Deputy Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A.H. Yusupova, delivered a welcoming speech.

The event was moderated by the librarian of the World Literature Service, Z.F.Kozhamberdi.

«The Book on one page» is a collection of deep in meaning, philosophical modern stories from the East and is presented in a unique format where each story is summarized on one page.

The presentation of the book «Bir bettik kitap» was attended and the book was presented by the author Mehdi Mirazimi, who specially attended the event from the Islamic Republic of Iran. In his speech, the author noted that learning through stories is one of the most attractive methods of enhancing public culture and encouraging reading, and also stressed that this is not only the presentation of one book, but also a vivid manifestation of the spiritual connection and cultural community between the two countries.

An intellectual quest quiz «Kitap alemine sayakhat» was held at the event, and students also read poems in Farsi. The active participants of the event and the winners of the quest game were presented with letters of thanks, books from the library and gifts from the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty and the Iranian Cultural Center.
