In the reading room named after Oraz Zhandosov of the «Kazakhstan Kitaptary» service, a book exhibition entitled «Kazakh adebietin dara tulgasy» was organized, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the national writer of the Kazakh SSR, public figure and poet S.M. Mukanov.

Sabit Mukanov is a classic of Kazakh literature, a public figure. In his works, he reflected the way of life of the Kazakh people, their national values and historical periods in literary language, leaving behind a rich creative heritage.

The purpose of the exhibition is to popularize the legacy of the outstanding Kazakh writer Sabit Mukanov, as well as to widely promote Kazakh literature among young people.

The book exhibition presents the works of Sabit Mukanov, literature about him, as well as memories of the writer from the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
