On January 28, 2025, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary and musical evening «Zerdeli zhyrdyn zergeri», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of poet, national writer of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kadyr Ginayatuly Myrzaliev.

The event was organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kadyr Myrzaliyev West Kazakhstan Regional Center for Culture and Art, the Kadyr Myrza Ali Public Foundation, and the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event is to popularize the creative heritage of the classic of Kazakh literature Kadyr Myrzaliyev.

The creative evening was held by the famous composer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, director of the public foundation «Kadyr Myrza Ali» Donedil Kazhimov.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, poet Kasymkhan Begmanov, poetess Akkushtap Baktygereeva, poet Bauyrzhan Zhakyp shared their memories of Kadyr Myrzaliev.

The documentary film «Kazaktyn Kadyry» was shown for the participants of the evening. Honored Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat and Aitkul Kudaibergenov, Gulmira Akurpekova, Dalel Uashev and others performed songs based on the poet's poems.

A book exhibition «Kazak zhyrynyn  Kadyry» was organized for the event, dedicated to the life and work of the classic of Kazakh poetry Kadyr Myrzaliev. The exhibition featured the author's books, literature about him, and articles published on the pages of periodicals. (about 500 documents from the library's collection).

Participants: poets and writers, representatives of the intelligentsia, the orchestra of Kazakh national folk instruments named after Kurmangazy, personnel of the Department of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Zhetysu region, students of the multidisciplinary college UIB, students of gymnasium  №86 named after G. Musrepov and library readers.
