On January 28, at 4 p.m., in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of the activities of the Book Corner of India, the grand opening of the exhibition «Tusti Sapar: Undistanga asem Sayakhat» - «Rangin Safar: A Colorful Journey to India» took place.

The event was opened by Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union B.K. Ospanova.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan, Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad expressed gratitude and willingness to further cooperate with the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Svetlana Kravchenko, a well-known Kazakhstani artist, member of the UNESCO club, curator of the international watercolor community, presented the works of artists from the art studio «Nemalevichi» in Pavlodar to all those present.

As part of the event, Mr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad donated new literature to the Book Corner of India at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan: encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books and medical textbooks in English.

The event was organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center.

You will be able to get acquainted with the exhibition of paintings «Tusti Sapar: Undistanga asem sayakhat» - «Rangin Safar: A Colorful Journey to India» until February 14 this year.
