On November 20, 2024, a training seminar «The global scientific Information Industry in the EBSCO ecosystem» was held in the R. Berdigalieva Library Hall, organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with EBSCO.

The speaker of the seminar is Alexander Rytov, the regional representative of EBSCO in Kazakhstan.

The seminar included an overview of EBSCO's electronic resources, as well as methods for searching for and working with scientific information on the EBSCOhost platform.

The seminar was attended by specialists from college libraries in Almaty, as well as employees of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who got acquainted with the functionality and features of working with EBSCO databases, and also received recommendations on effective search and use of information.
